  1. World Tsunami Awareness Day is annually observed on 5 November to emphasize the importance of Tsunami knowledge and awareness.
  2. 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will be hosted by the West Indies and the United States from 4-30 June, 2024. It will be the first ICC World Cup tournament to feature matches played in the United States. 20 teams will take part in the tournament.
  3. In India, at present there are 18 notified biosphere reserves spanning 60,000 sq km. The larger biosphere reserve is the Gulf of Kachchh (Gujarat) and the smallest is Dibru-Saikhowa (Assam).  
  4. Karnataka has launched Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar Hriday Jyoti Yojana for the treatment of people suffering from heart attacks and cardiovascular problems.

  11. The Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan has announced the establishment of a regional administrative office of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in Dubai. 
  12. The Indian Army successfully carried out the inaugural firing of 70mm rocket and 20mm turret guns of indigenous light combat helicopter (LCH) ‘Prachand’.
